Party Officials in Iowa Gave Paul Delegates to Another! 1/2

Media Cover-up: Ron Paul’s Standing Not Discussed in Iowa Vote Reshuffle Kurt Nimmo January 19, 2012 Republican officials in Iowa today said that there was no clear winner in the caucus held there on January 3. Party officials said results from eight of the 1774 precincts were missing when they conducted the vote certification process, meaning they likely will never know what the final tallies were for the candidates. Despite the ambiguity, Rick Santorum was quick to declare a “virtual tie” in the race and the establishment media obliged him on the claim while ignoring how the change effected Ron Paul’s standing. Rick Santorum claims he is in a “virtual tie” with declared winner Mitt Romney. According to the Iowa Caucus website, the certified results of 1766 precincts made public Thursday show Santorum with 29839 votes, followed by Romney with 29805, Ron Paul in third with 26036, and Newt Gingrich with 16163, Rick Perry with 12557, Michele Bachmann with 6046 and Jon Huntsman with 739. Party officials said 121503 votes were certified. The admission of voting irregularities and uncounted votes in the state adds more weight to the argument that the race was fixed in order to discount Ron Paul and push him to the periphery in a concerted effort to minimize his popularity among voters and upstage the handpicked establishment candidates. On January 4, we reported on the Republican establishment’s decision to conduct the vote count in secret

IAIS QJ 7081 In Western Iowa

Iowa Interstate Railroad crosses Iowa in an east-west direction over the former Rock Island. In 2006, Railroad Development Corporation, parent company of Iowa Interstate, purchased a pair of Chinese class QJ 2-10-2 locomotives. The QJ class was the final Chinese steam design to go into production, ending in 1988, with over 4700 built. Before being shipped to the US, the two locomotives were overhauled in China to meet Federal Railroad Administration standards. QJ 7081, built by Datong Locomotive Works in 1986, performed fundraising trips for the Earlham, Anita, and Atlantic fire departments on July 24 & 25, 2010. All three western Iowa communities are served by Iowa Interstate. The coverage on our DVD, “Steam: Trackside & Inside” includes a ferry move to Earlham the day before the weekend fundraisers. We present the Saturday trips from Earlham to Stuart, the ferry move to Atlantic, and the Sunday trips between Atlantic and Anita. In addition to our QJ story, our DVD also features Soo Line 2719 as the engine is prepared for the first revenue trip of the year, and two all-day trips between Duluth and Two Harbors, MN, including a cab ride as the locomotive is wyed in CN’s Two Harbors yard. Read about Soo Line 2719 here: Rounding out the DVD is a feature showing Milwaukee Road #261 in operation at the Milwaukee Road Historical Society 2001 Convention in Montevideo, MN.
