How do you put excitement and fun back into your marriage?

I have been married a long time now and I have come to realize that there was something missing that we had before we became married, and that is the excitement and fun that we had….Now we don’t have that anymore, I am looking for fun but he is not up to it because of all the obligations and money, and I want excitement back but I have noticed that he has left that up to me and I don’t know if he has even considered it or not because I have talked to him about it just recently…..What I want to know from all of you give me some ideas to how to bring excitement and fun back into my marriage before I lose my mind!
I really need some help and some helpful answers would be good for me because I am at a loss here and I don’t know what to do now! Thanks!

Actually in my next relationship I have a plan to basically make it the most exciting thing ever…but I am going to write about it and well I am afraid three years is too long for you to wait…so…

This is a very complicated question…a lot depends on both of your personalities which you didnt describe…I would say remember some of the fun things you did and tell him, we need to do that again…that is the best I can do for you…

Well, it will take the both of you to be willing to bring excitement back. Sounds like he is just content with the way things are. If it’s your sex life that is lacking, try new things. Buy some nice lingerie and do a strip tease or a lap dance. Good luck.

You just have to make time for each other. Go on romantic dates, walks on the beach or through the park. Role play, dress up in different outfits. Go to a bar and sit apart, flirt with each other, you know as if he is picking you up for the first time. Compliment each other. Send hot text messages to each other through out the day. If you want more ideas, email me. I have been married 11 years and we still have LOTS of fun together.

Plan. Plan. Plan. If you have kids, spontaneity is out of the question.

Is your husband weighed down with money worries? Plan something cheap.

Excitement doesn’t have to be expensive. Best of luck and hang in there.

I have been married to my wonderful wife for 20 years, and it has been getting better as every year passes. Marriage always brings on obligations and priorities that you don’t necessarily have when you first meet and are at the dating stage; you have children, buy a house, get full time jobs, manage your money to set up your future… all these things tend to put a hold on “happiness”, and usually your frequency of sex is also hampered. So what’s the solution?

The most important thing is that you never lose sight of what your relationship is, the way you feel for each other, the time you spend together, the communication and the sex. It is important that you recharge your batteries once or twice a year to ensure that your relationship flurishes… by this I mean, go away somewhere, away from the routine of your everyday life, somewhere where you could be a couple and not be interrupted by your life responsabilities. Take a week once in awhile and go down south, enjoy each other, lots of sex, lots of talk, lots of relaxation. It’s the break from the everyday that will change your life, because when you come back, you will be a revitalized couple… refreshed and ready to go, just like a new battery in a toy. Trust me… it works.

When you’re at home, change some things around to make yourself happy, and his happiness will follow; a nice candlelight dinner for two, some sexy lingerie to follow, a day visit to a wonderful spot you enjoyed years ago… be creative, find things that will make you happy and act upon them. You don’t always need money, or much money, to have a good time.

Usually it’s triggered by the sincerness communicated in the post I looked at. And on this post How do you put excitement and fun back into your marriage? | Bringing Fun To You. I was moved enough to leave a thought 🙂 I do have a few questions for you if you do not mind. Is it simply me or do a few of the comments appear as if they are left by brain dead folks? 😛 And, if you are posting on other online sites, I would like to keep up with you. Would you list the complete urls of all your public sites like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?

Thanks for the useful information on credit repair on this particular web-site. Things i would advice people is to give up this mentality that they can buy currently and fork out later. As a society most people tend to make this happen for many things. This includes vacation trips, furniture, in addition to items we really want to have. However, it is advisable to separate the wants from all the needs. When you’re working to fix your credit score you really have to make some sacrifices. For example you may shop online to save cash or you can visit second hand retailers instead of expensive department stores to get clothing.
