Plane had landed at Nemcolin Woodlands before crashing in W.Va.


A twin-engine plane that crashed into a West Virginia Public Broadcasting tower today had earlier dropped off four people at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Wharton Township. The crash is being investigated by the Monongalia and Preston county sheriff’s departments as debris fell in both of their jurisdictions. Also called to the scene were officials from the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board.
