My 2-year-old nephew absolutely adores watching his father and I play video games, particularly Raving Rabbids on the Wii. Now, when he comes over to my house, he picks up the controller and starts saying, “Bunny, bunny, bunny!” I want to find a game that he can interact with by moving the controllers and pressing buttons, perhaps some action-reaction learning. He’s still too young for anything too involved, however, he knows that pressing buttons will make something happen.

Any suggestions?

I am planning on having my daughters party at a bounce house they also have a buffet. I am planning on purchasing each child’s buffet and then if the adults choose to eat they can purchase their own meal? Does that seem fair? Since the party is more for the kids I figured it would be okay?

I don’t know if such a product exists, but I am looking for a lightweight stroller that can support a toddler up to about 50 pounds and fold easily and compact.

I also need air-pumped tires for a smooth ride. I hate the cheapy wheels that slam into bumps and cracks instead of rolling over them! It’s more for mall-crawling, so jogging strollers aren’t really what I need here.

My daughter who is 2.5 mentionted that she saw a ghost under her toy table a few days ago. Today her dad took her to a indoor bounce house and she always has alot of fun, but this time she started to cry and shake and grabbed on to her fathers shirt and wanted to leave. So said it’s a boy ghost her size that has a long face. How should I handle this? Is this normal?

I have a 2 and a half year old son. His dad left us when he was 4 months. He disappeared from when our son was 12 months-18 months. He came back an gradually got his visitation back which lead to overnight access every other weekend which started in august. He was only utilizing his overnight access and did not visit or call often saying that the distance was too much for him.

I moved 20 min away from him in Feb so he can be closer to our son. He has been seeing him once a week and every other weekends overnight as well as every other weds over night. He doesn’t usually call to talk to our son during the week.

Our son goes through phases as most kids do but i notice he is totally out of whack when he comes back from his dads which takes me days to get back into the swing of things. (dad claims he follows my routine to a T).

Most recently our son has been crying every time we leave my house..screaming that he doesn’t want to go. He goes to daycare and has been since 12 months old..recently daycare was switched and he was fine in the beginning but the more he started seeing his dad the weirder he would act. This weekend i wanted to take him to a movie and ice cream and he threw a tantrum saying he wants to stay at “mamas house” which i notice is becoming a daily routine. Any advice? any one else experience things like this? anything i can do? Is this normal behaviour?
