I hit a guy on a motorcycle with my car. I was not at fault for the accident at all. I have the check from my insurance to fix my car but I cant bring it to the shop until I have a rental vehical so I talked the the guys insurance company and they said they could reimburse me for the rental car but If I want it to be directly billed to them from the rental place they would need to see a copy of the police report for proof that he was at fault( it clearly stated that he was cited for the accident not me) but now they say they need to investigate even though they have proof that he is. Im still waiting for this so called investigation that will take god knows how long to happen so I cant get my rental directly billed because I cant afford to pay now and wait months to be reimbursed. Im sure this guys company is just screwing with me but is there anything that I can do to make things go faster. If I dont get a rental can I sue them for lost wages because I have no transportation for work
his insurance company also said that he had never filed a clain for the accident he caused until a few days ago ( the accident happened Oct. 16) and now they told me that his side of the story is much different than mine but should what he said even be valid? because of his delay reporting the accident. I went to my company the day after the crash to file a claim I would have went the day it happened but they were closed. Its just a mess with all this Bull$hit and my car aint even banged up too badly its driveable but when it goes to the shop I will not have my car back for at least a few days and My fiance and I will most likely be working those days so anyways I know I already asked this but Could I take them to court If I just tell them forget the rental your taking too long now Im suing your for lost wages for the work that we missed. If I can sue what kind of proof do I need for the court? I would appreciate any help thanks and sorry its so long
I do have the police report and I sent my insurance company and his a copy. My policy wont cover a rental thats what my conpany told me. Like I said my insurance company and the police report both said that the other is at fault
whats the difference between recreation games, scenario games, and speed ball?
I use internet for yahoo, E-mail and searches but not interactive games. I currently have Rogers Express service with download speed of 7 Mbps and upload of 512 Kbps. The cost is going up again. I can get lite service 1 Mbps/ 256 Kbps or Ultra-lite 500 Kbps/ 356 Kbps. Would I notice any difference with these less expensive services? If so, how would it be different? Thanks
Rogers is a cable service. The highest speed offered is 18 Mbps download/ 1 Mbps upload.
In an old-fashioned amusement park ride, passengers stand inside a 4.8–diameter hollow steel cylinder with their backs against the wall. The cylinder begins to rotate about a vertical axis. Then the floor on which the passengers are standing suddenly drops away! If all goes well, the passengers will “stick” to the wall and not slide. Clothing has a static coefficient of friction against steel in the range 0.62 to 1.0 and a kinetic coefficient in the range 0.40 to 0.70. A sign next to the entrance says “No children under 30 allowed.”

In a popular amusement park ride, a rotating cylinder of radius 1.8 m is set in rotation at an angular speed?
In a popular amusement park ride, a rotating cylinder of radius 1.8 m is set in rotation at an angular speed of 5.0 rad/s, as in Figure P7.51. The floor then drops away, leaving the riders suspended against the wall in a vertical position. What minimum coefficient of friction between a rider’s clothing and the wall is needed to keep the rider from slipping? (Hint: Recall that the magnitude of the maximum force of static friction is equal to μN, where N is the normal force—in this case, the force causing the centripetal acceleration.
An amusement park ride consists of a rotating
circular platform 9.09 m in diameter from
which 10 kg seats are suspended at the end
of 1.97 m massless chains. When the system
rotates, the chains make an angle of 31.3◦ with
The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s2 .
What is the speed of each seat?
Answer in units of m/s.
It’s 186,000 miles per second right but how did they find that out?
I guess no one here knows
How do we know its exactly 186,282 m/s? I mean it is not like we can measure that type of speed. In less than a second light would have circled around the world 7 times.
Then I guess my question should be “how is the speed of light defined?”
