After a wreck can I except the partial claim from their insurance after my insurance fixed my vehicle?
They were found at fault. Their insurance only wants to pay 70%. So I filled with my insurance who is paying 100% minus my 500 dollar deductible. My insurance the other day told me if they other company calls me trying to get me to except the 70% not to take our they won’t be able to go after them for reimbursement. But this has been a pain from both insurance companies in my ass. Neither will pay for my rental car I’m out 500 bucks that was christmas money and the accident wasn’t my fault nor was I given any tickets.
Now my thing if I take the 70% I get 1600 and I can pocket 1100. Say bite me to both of them. I feel I earned it.
Is it illegal to settle an auto claim without informing the insurance co.?
A drunk woman hit our parked car twice. She had no proof of insurance on her, and was too drunk to remember her information. We called out insurance, and we were told to wait to file with her company. A few days after she was arrested, we got her contact information and she was unwilling to use her insurance company, and instead wanted to pay out of pocket to keep the matter hidden from her parents. We took the car to get an estimate, and she will then unwilling to cooperate. We finally got the name of her insurance company, and now we are worried of legal or financial penalties we might face since her insurance company was not contacted from the beginning.
Will they pay for our rental car costs which now exceed 200 dollars?

Auto insurance company that wants me to pay upfront?
I need general information concerning auto insurance complanies that pay claims directly to the driver. They want me to absorb all costs (repairs, rental, etc.) and then they will issue me a “reimbursement” check. I don’t want reimbursed for something that their insured driver did to me! I just want them to cover all costs associated with the claim! What, if any, legal action can I take to have the matter proceed in my favor?
I was a victim of hit and run, and the insurance company of the other party does not act, what do I do?
Two witnesses saw a person hit my car, while it was parked, then drove away; and they took down his/her plate number. We called our insurance company and reached that person’s insurance company, they went through some procedure (inspection on my car’s damage, location the other party), and then stopped doing anything a few weeks ago, telling us that the other party claims our car has been damaged before. What would be some good courses of actions to take?

Will my auto insurance cover liability if my friend is driving a car I rent?

We are tenants and are renting a home with a signed lease, we do not have home owners insurance yet on this ho?
I would like to know what kind of coverage would be needed on our rental home to cover us, so we are not sued. We were also concerned about our renters having dogs. They have tried to contain their dogs but they continue to get out. We were told that if one of their dogs bit someone their is a possibility we can be sued due to it being our property. HOW CAN WE PROTECT OURSELVES?
