Republican nominee clarifies his comments about low income voters. Related Story: Mitt Romney Stands by Comments About ‘Entitled’ Obama Supporters in Leaked Videos Leaked video of Republican nominee Mitt Romney at closed-door fundraisers show him saying that “no matter what” he does, 47 percent of the population is going to vote for Obama because they are “are dependent upon government.” Tonight in California, Romney did not back down from what he had said. The video clips, which were posted by Mother Jones, show Romney telling donors that 47 percent of voters will chose Obama “no matter what” because they are people “who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax.” For more on this story: abcnews.go.com

He can’t even answer reporters question when she asks for a response to him saying: “people who are receiving gov benefits or who didn’t pay taxes saw themselves as victims or weren’t willing to take responsibility for their own lives or their future” He reminds me of George Bush. I will not vote for this man. I would rather give Obama a good chance. If Obama is to make a change, he needs more time to undo what has been done. He walked into a huge mess.

Corporate welfare in the form of subsidies cost taxpayers billions of dollars. Some economic theorists feel subsidies are necessary because they give recipient industries a step up in the competitive marketplace. However subsidies are often given to established corporations with long-standing records of high profit margins. For example, the energy, natural resources, aerospace and high-tech industries all receive government subsidies

It’s not the matter that he said 47% of people don’t pay income tax. It’s that he said 47% of Americans believe they should be given everything for free and depend on the government for everything. It is simply bluntly, not true, a gross over generalization, he didn’t just describe how the election process works he made a value judgement, and prescribed that nearly half of all Americans are just lazy freeloaders. He re-affirmed this point multiple times, showing it wasn’t just an off remark.

So the VICE PRESIDENT says to a room FULL of black people, “They want to put you back in chains, y’all” (this man has literally never said y’all in any public setting whatsoever), and everyone brushes it off like he made a silly mistake. Yet Romney says 47% of Americans don’t pay taxes, in a PRIVATE setting and hes demonized. I don’t care for either nominee, I’m just saying this is insanely biased, if Romney said something racist like Biden, he’s be destroyed by the media.

But I really do not understand this “Goverment Centric”, Arguement that seems to be the main idea of the republican party. THEY are the ones that created the deficit, in fact.

He can’t remember what the question was, he does not remember holding down and cutting some bodies hair in an act of homophobic bullying in Highschool. He seems to have some memory problems. In the case of the released video he cannot remember a couple of weeks back. Just who we need for president!

Why would he need to hide his opinions for behind closed doors? Mitt Romney’s campaign is full of lies and BS, and you are one of those who are ignorant enough to buy it! How’s that ocean view in Arizona?! PS, Not voting Obama here, but I would never been ignorant enough to vote for Romney. If your voting for him, it means you do not know how to vote on issue, you only vote by party and nothing more.
