Why do people think duke will lose to west virginia because kentucky is better than duke?
That kind of logic doesn’t work in college basketball. Northen Iowa beat Kanas and yet Michigan State beats Northern Iowa.. So is Michigan State better than Kanas? I think Duke is going to win against WV’s zone because Duke is not going to 4-32 beyond the arc like Kentucky.
I highly doubt it cuz they are use to winning games by the three. Kentucky was use to fast break and post!

dukes better than WVU, WVU has devin ebanks desean butler…dukes got jon scheyer kyle singler nolan smith and brian zubek…duke can play very well

how do u know duke wont shoot like crap from 3 like kentucky did? nobody expected the wildcats to miss their first 20 shots from long range, either
west virginia can beat duke because quite simply they managed to beat kentuckys big three which happens to be more talented than dukes big three (wall-cousins-patterson vs smith-singler-scheyer)
the mountaineers will be able to slow the game down, and by all accounts they are excellent on the offensive glass – which doesnt bode well for duke because thats one of the few strengths the blue devils have this year, which is rebounding. of course, if the dookies start hitting 3point shots then all that stuff is out the window

THANK YOU! Finally, someone with some logic. “Duke is not going to 4-32 beyond the arc like Kentucky.” EXACTLY. Duke will get open 3′s all day against that 1-3-1 zone.

duke sucks and im tired of everyone licking their balls. been six years since they’ve been to the final four? duke always seems to come up with calls in games, the the one where scheyer called timeout, he almost nailed the baylor guy with an elbow, thats the only reason why the other guy went after smith like that. duke will lose to west virginia anyway. and you cant say wv only has dasean and ebanks. they got smith jones and mazzulla too.

I think it’s going to be an awesome game. Both teams play great defense and if one’s offense gets it going, they’re almost unstoppable!

Kentucky Wildcats lost because West Virginia used a 3-2 zone defense. Kentucky if they were smart should have pushed the ball up the court and beat West Virginia down the court before they could set up the zone defense. West Virginia could’ve been beat. I will say this to all future teams playing West Virginia…”Push the ball up the court by getting the transition offense going and beat West Virginia before they set up that annoying 3-2 zone defense.” You will beat them if you do this…Kentucky did not. It was so obvious what needed to be done. I wish I was a coach or a player on the team.

I am rooting for WVU 10000000% , but we all know that WVU isn’t the heavy favorite, and they may even end up losing.but we hate duke sooooooo much, we always say their opponent is going to win, even if its a girls high school basketball team.
